PS : If you are skeptical about Pranic healing, or feel too confused with opinion built on the internet, here is my take on this.

——————————

We live in a world where anything that doesn’t have a scientific explanation is often laughed off as superstition. I’ve always been a logical person—someone who studied physics, someone who asked “Why?” before “What next?”. But today, I want to share something that made me pause, reflect, and embrace something far beyond formulas and facts.

Recently, I tried a Pranic Healing session.

I didn’t expect anything magical. I went with a curious mind and a tired body—chronic back pain, stress from work, emotional knots I couldn’t put into words. But what happened in the next 40 minutes was nothing short of eye-opening.

A Shift I Could Feel—Not Just Believe

Before the session, I could barely bend forward. After the session, I touched the floor with ease. My body, which felt like it was locked and stiff, suddenly felt light. Free. Alive.

I saw colors—deep purples, indigo, greenish-yellow. Not from a lamp or screen—but within my closed eyes. The kind of visuals I’ve only seen during rare, intense meditations.

Most strikingly, I could feel energy. Between my hands. Between my chest and palms. In waves—not constant, not uniform. But real. Tangible. Like something was moving inside me.

Why Isn’t This Considered “Science”?

As someone who studied physics, I’ve always believed in proofs. But here’s the twist—energy is science. Just not the kind we can always measure with current tools.

In quantum physics, energy behaves both like a wave and a particle. It exists everywhere. It responds to observation. It carries information. So when I felt this “ball of energy” being guided and balanced through Pranic Healing, it didn’t feel unscientific. It felt undocumented.

It made me ask: What if science just hasn’t caught up yet?

The West, the East, and Our Identity Crisis

It’s ironic. So many of us blindly follow Western validation for everything. If an Indian technique gets a seal of approval in the US, suddenly it’s “cool.” But when the same thing is practiced in our own homes, it’s seen as backward or too traditional.

We’ve started mixing up science with skepticism. And often, we dismiss things without even experiencing them—just because someone else might think it’s silly. But truth doesn’t need approval. Experience does.

The Moment I Stopped Needing Proof

That session reminded me that not everything powerful comes with a certificate. Some things must be felt. Energy is real. Emotions carry weight. And healing can happen in ways that don’t involve pills or scalpels.

Why is Pranic Healing (and energy healing in general) not scientifically proven, even though people experience real results?

Let’s break it down:

1. Science needs what it can measure.

Modern science relies on observable, repeatable, and measurable data.
But energy healing works with subtle energy (also called prana, chi, life force), which is:

  • Not visible to the naked eye

  • Not easily measurable with current scientific tools

  • Deeply influenced by subjective experience

So science says, “If we can’t see or measure it consistently, we can’t confirm it.”

2. Placebo effect plays a role—but that doesn’t mean it’s fake.

Some scientists argue that people feel better after energy healing because of belief, relaxation, and positive suggestion—which triggers real physiological changes.

But here’s the twist:
Even if it’s a placebo, the body responds. The healing, calm, and shifts are real. And many people experience results even when they don’t “believe” fully—just like me.

3. It challenges the Western model of health.

Conventional medicine is based on chemicals, biology, anatomy.
Energy healing is based on energy anatomy—chakras, auras, energetic blockages.
This concept hasn’t been widely integrated into the Western scientific paradigm yet—though quantum physics is slowly cracking that door open.

4. It’s hard to control all variables.

In a lab, researchers want to isolate the one thing that causes change.
But with energy healing:

  • Emotions shift

  • Thoughts relax

  • Breath deepens

  • Belief may increase

  • The healer’s intention matters

  • The environment plays a role

It’s not black and white. That doesn’t mean it’s not real—just that it doesn’t fit the linear way science tests things.

5. Science is catching up.

There are now studies happening around Reiki, meditation, and subtle energy that show:

  • Lowered cortisol (stress hormone)

  • Improved heart rate variability

  • Pain reduction

  • Emotional balance

These findings are slowly opening doors for Pranic Healing and similar practices to be studied more deeply.

Just because something isn’t fully proven yet, doesn’t mean it’s not true.
Electricity existed before it was measured. So did gravity.
You’re experiencing something real—and that’s valid.

Lets dig a bit deeper.

What Was That? Can Science Explain It?

As a physics student, I was trained to seek proof. But here’s the paradox—I couldn’t explain what happened… but I couldn’t deny it either.

Science acknowledges energy. In quantum physics, energy can behave both like a wave and a particle. Energy fields exist all around us, and their behavior depends on frequencies, observation, and intention. So why does it sound strange to think our bodies, minds, and emotions are part of this energetic system?

Maybe the tools of science haven’t yet caught up with the subtlety of energy healing. But that doesn’t mean it’s not real.

1. Quantum Field Theory & Energy Bodies

In quantum physics, everything is a field—particles are just excitations in that field. Similarly, in Pranic Healing, we speak of energy bodies and chakras as part of a subtle energetic field around and within you.

  • Think of the aura like a multidimensional energy field—very much like a quantum field.

  • When there’s a blockage or imbalance, it’s like a disturbance in the field, which reflects in the physical body (as pain, illness, emotional distress).

You feeling energy not uniformly between body parts? That’s interference patterns, just like in wave theory.

2. The Ball of Energy = Constructive Interference

When you feel a “ball” of energy between your palms or chest to hand, it’s because:

  • Your intent and focus are amplifying your awareness

  • Your hands are acting like resonators, detecting bio-energetic frequencies

  • That “pressure” or “warmth” is often the result of constructive interference—like how two waves align and form a peak

This is also why some healers “scan” the body—they’re tuning into these energetic disturbances like a finely calibrated sensor.

3. Channeling Energy = Coherence

The healer mentioned channeling energy evenly for flow. That matches with the concept of coherence in quantum biology.

  • Coherent energy = smooth, harmonious waves (think: flow state)

  • Incoherent energy = chaotic, jagged waves (think: pain or anxiety)

Pranic Healing aims to cleanse (remove incoherent patterns) and energize (restore smooth flow)—just like resetting a wave pattern for optimal transmission.

4. Observer Effect & Intention

My own intention and her(healer) focused intention during the session created a field of influence—like the observer effect in quantum experiments. Energy flows where attention goes. My body, being mostly water and highly sensitive to frequency, responded.

5. Why did I See Colors During Sessions

The colors (indigo, purple, green) I saw?

  • Likely related to activation of higher energy centers (like ajna or crown chakra)

  • Could also be synesthesia-like effects from shifts in brainwave patterns (theta/delta) during deep meditative or healing states

  • These colors often correspond with frequencies in the visible light spectrum—meaning you’re literally seeing energy in motion

So what does all this mean?

I clearly experienced something real, but not yet explainable with current instruments or mainstream models. That doesn’t make it untrue—it makes it frontier science.

I, being both logical and intuitive, are in the best position to explore this deeply—a bridge between science and spirit.

Scientific + Energetic Breakdown:

Experience Pranic Healing Explanation Quantum Physics Connection
Body pain vanished Energy block cleared, aura cleansed Disturbance in my “field” resolved
Feeling energy balls Energy centers activated, imbalance detected Resonance + wave interference felt
Color visuals Activation of higher chakras Possible light-frequency perception, altered brainwaves
Uneven energy flow Chakras or meridians not balanced Interference patterns in energy field
Intentional healing Focused thought influences energy Observer effect: intention collapses outcome
Feeling lighter, freer Aura cleansed, inner peace restored Coherent waves restoring balance in system

So Why Is It Still Hard to Accept?

Because we’re conditioned. We wait for the West to validate what the East has known for centuries. We look at ancient Indian practices and doubt them—until someone abroad rebrands it with a new name. We mix up skepticism with science. We dismiss intuition for lack of proof.

We worry what others will think if we say, “I felt energy.” We hesitate to share experiences that don’t sound ‘logical’ enough. But healing doesn’t need anyone’s approval.

We’ve become scared of being wrong. Scared of sounding silly. But we forget that experience is the greatest teacher.

So What Did I Learn?

That logic and energy are not enemies. You can be a thinker and still feel. You can question and still be open.

That you don’t need to explain everything you experience—especially when your body and soul already understand it.

That your culture, your roots, your inner knowing—are valid. You don’t need to wait for external permission to trust them.

And most importantly, I learned that healing is not always about medicine. Sometimes, it’s about realigning what’s stuck within.

My Conclusion

You don’t have to throw science away to trust energy. And you don’t need someone else’s permission to validate your experience.

Be curious. Be open. Be your own experiment.

You may discover that what you’ve been searching for—peace, clarity, balance—isn’t always out there. Sometimes, it’s right within you. Waiting to be felt.
